Arrive at Delhi International Airport. Please clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel. MAGADH TRAVELS executive will wait at the arrival hall with a placard in your name to greet you. Thereafter you will be assisted with a transfer and check in at the hotel. Mahua Kothi, A Taj Safari – Bandhavgarh: Mahua Kothi or homestead is named after the Mahua tree which is prized and revered in the region. 12 standalone luxury cottages blend into a 45 acre private forest on the periphery of the national park. The guest area overlooks a large grassland where monkeys and birds in vivid colours are a regular feature. The mud cottages or 'Kutiyas' are built in the local style of architecture. A bean shaped pool screened by a bamboo thicket and shaded by Mahua trees is perfect for cooling off at midday. The guest areas are housed in a large brick building with deep verandas overlooking a grassland ringed by a forest patch. The dining hall has a large fireplace to keep guests warm during chilly winter evenings. Guests delight in picking fresh vegetables and fruit from the lodge's private organic gardens for a salad. A select menu of treatments offered by professional in-house masseurs is the perfect indulgence to top off a safari holiday.

However, the beauty of its forests also lies in the rich wildlife that lives within it – Leopard, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer and many more. The park also has a rich variety of birdlife. You are likely to spot beautiful species of Egrets, Hornbills, Kingfishers and Eagles that are endemic to the region. We will explore the Tiger Reserve mainly by following a network of jeep tracks that will lead us into the forested areas. Our excursions in the Tiger Reserve will by jeeps. As well as making early morning and afternoon excursions we will have periods of relaxation back at our lodge; these are especially welcome during the midday heat. Morning after breakfast travel to Kanha National Park. Spread across 940 sq.km, Kanha National Park is one of the largest parks in Madhya Pradesh where the majestic royal Bengal tigers are found in good numbers. The Park is respected globally for saving the Barasingha from near extinction. No doubt, it is one of the best managed parks in Asia and a part of Project Tiger. National Geographic's award winning 'Land of the Tigers' was shot here, but the park is home to leopards, wild dogs and Barasingha as well. Banjaar Tola, A Taj Safari – Kanha: This safari lodge is situated along the banks of the Banjaar River overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park. Two intimate camps of nine tents each are built on the banks of the still river overlooking the national park. Each elegant camp boasts its own pool with outdoor as well as indoor lounge options and interactive dining areas. Bastar bell metal work, Gond artwork and intricate stone carvings adorn the guest areas and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region. The Kanha Resort is nestled amid 90 acres of private Sal forest interspersed with grasslands and a seasonal lake. The varieties of animals can be discovered in abundance at this amazing reserve. It is the only habitat of the rare hard ground Barasingha, often referred as "the jewel of Kanha" and most famed the Indian Tigers. Tiger, Panther, Chital, Sambar , Barasingha , Black buck, Barking deer , Chowsingha , Jackal, Sloth bear, Wild dog. The Reserve brings around 300 species of birds and the most commonly seen birds are the Black Ibis, Bee-eaters, Cattle Egret, Blossom-Headed Parakeets, White-breasted Kingfisher, White-browed Fantail Flycatcher, Wood shrikes and Warblers among many more. Thousands of bird watchers and ornithologists can get attracted to this amazing bird paradise. The mixed, bamboo and the grassy forests are the perfect spots for bird watching in Kanha National Park. Morning after breakfast travel to Pench National Park. Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills is named after Pench River, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprising of 758 sq. kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq. km is the national park & remaining 464 sq. km is the buffer area. On arrival check in at hotel. Baghvan, A Taj Safari – Pench: Baghvan, which literally means the 'tiger forest'. Only a few minutes from the national park entrance these 12 charming stand-alone bungalows are built alongside a picturesque 'nullah' (dry riverbed), that demarcates the lodge premises from the national park. Each bungalow comes with its own rooftop machan, indoor and outdoor shower areas and a private sit-out surrounded by the woods. A colonial theme is nuanced in the guest areas with a vintage radio, crystal candelabras on the dining table and metal chandeliers. Delicate Parsi tiles on the live food counter, woven hyacinth furniture and giant ebony chests add to the elegance of the hall. The Taj Safari Lodge in Baghvan has a delightful infinity pool shaded by trees and overlooking the forest. A tiny cottage across the safari shop houses a small library, computer and a television for guests, with the adjacent room being a tasteful serene space for massage treatments.
